Why do I need a pet trust?

I am a happy owner of three Yorkie's, and I happen to think everybody in Florida who has animals needs a pet trust. If your animals are part of your family, you need a pet trust. You need a pet trust for someone to set up someone to take care of the animals when you pass. A lot of my clients will tell me that their family, their children, their cousins are going to take care of the animals when they pass, but in 50% of these cases I see that the animals are going to the shelters and it's not because the family or the friends are going to be mean, it's just that perhaps they're in a position where they can't take care of the animals.
